LEAKWATCH®
LeakWatch® – our AI for detecting compressed air leaks
Leaks in compressed air systems are unintentional escapes of compressed air that are responsible for several tens of thousands of euros in costs every year. Compressed air leaks are odorless, invisible and usually inaudible in the production environment. Connecting pieces, cylinders, blow-out guns or tools are often affected by leaks due to ageing and corrosion.
With the LeakWatch® algorithm, leaks can be detected automatically using sensor data.
The LeakWatch® is part of the AnalyzAir® software.
How the LeakWatch® works
Compressed air data WRS AnalyzAir sensors
At least 4 weeks of data are required to teach the LeakWatch® algorithm. The measurement data from volume flow sensors or the measurement data of the entire compressor output are suitable for this.
2. clustering
The LeakWatch® is trained to recognize both leakage and basic consumption patterns. Typical time windows in which such behavior patterns can be identified include weekends, downtimes, shift changes or break times. Different clusters are formed and colored for this purpose. Your contact person selects the appropriate cluster. The LeakWatch® then works independently.
3. Leakage KPI
A daily leakage KPI is calculated from the selected cluster. This KPI is evaluated in a monthly report. The KPI can be monitored live in the dashboard. If integrated into an existing EnMS system, the leakage KPI can be transferred as an external data point.
4. eliminate leakage
With an experienced team of compressed air fitters, the detected leakage losses are precisely localized using an ultrasonic device. The location is marked and repaired by our fitters. The goal: in the next evaluation you will see how the leakage KPI drops significantly!

The number of sensors depends on the individual requirements. The total leakage rate can be determined based on the energy-related recording of the compressors. Additional volume flow sensors are installed for more precise localization.

Yes, this is possible thanks to the connection to existing energy management systems. Typical trades include electricity, water and other gases. Please feel free to contact us.

The LeakWatch is an ideal addition to an ultrasonic locator. By automatically analyzing the sensor data, the LeakWatch provides permanent information about the status of leaks in the network. Time-based localization is replaced by targeted, condition-based localization of leaks.
